About Us

The Hash House Harriers (abbreviated to HHH, H3, or referred to simply as Hashing) is an international group of non-competitive running, social and drinking clubs. An event organized by a club is known as a Hash or Hash Run, with participants calling themselves Hashers or Hares and Hounds. For more information, visit Wikipedia.

Boston Ballbuster Hardcore Hash House Harriers is a long-format trail kennel, primarily taking place in the Boston Metro area. Trails are a minimum of 6.9 miles, and may take place through any type of terrain / shiggy, without regard to proximity to a transit line. They occur once monthly, on the third Saturday of the month, unless specifically posted otherwise. (for special events, etc) Meet-up time is typically 1030HST, unless otherwise specified, with Hares away by 1100.

Cost is $1 per person, payable to the Hare(s), and a six-pack (or more!) of whatever beer you want to drink. Beermosas will be provided at the start, by the Hares, as will snacks along trail. You will be required to sit on the ice at the end of trail, regardless of season.

Beer checks are recommended at intervals of 3-ish miles, but there are no guarantees!
